Profile: I am a woman whose life has been affected and changed significantly by heart disease. As a survivor of heart attacks, open heart surgeries, and multiple cardiac set-backs, I will not only share first-hand insights on how to achieve a heart healthy lifestyle, but will educate and increase awareness about the #1 killer of women, Heart Disease. My experience with heart disease has taught me to live each moment with passion, genuineness, and intention. I am very active with the Syracuse Heart Association and I am the 2012 Passion Speaker for the Syracuse Heart Associations GoRed Luncheon. I also graduated from the WomenHeart National Science and Leadership Symposium at the Mayo Clinic in 2011 where I was trained to be a WomenHeart Champion. As a WomenHeart Champion, I coordinates monthly support groups for women with heart disease and work with leaders and media in the CNY community to raise awareness about women and heart disease. I currently work with women through her wellness, counseling and life coaching service, Her Heartbeat, where women focus on physical, emotional, and spiritual heart health. Her Heartbeat; its more than counseling, its a heart with life.
I am also an Independent Designer with Origami Owl and have begun building a strong, amazing sales team of Independent Designers nationally. I absolutley fell in love with these "Living Lockets" since the very moment I saw them. And with my sales and marketing background, I realized that this would be an amazing opportunity for me. Owning my own business allows me to set my own hours and put my children and my heart health first.
