Women TIES President Tracy Chamberlain Higginbotham took 120 women with her to the Women's March in Washington in January 20, 2017. It seems like the 2020 Women's March, just organized and announced, might be a more important one.

The Women's March organizers plan for an October 17th March to protest Trump filling Ginsburg's Supreme Court seat in Washington, DC.

We are putting feelers out to see if anyone has an interest to go to this one? If we have a solid group of women interested, we can try to work out out getting some women there - perhaps via bus again.

If you are interested, sign up NOW and we'll make the decision to go or not by September 30th! Register by giving us your address and paying the $10 fee which we will refund to you if we do not go or it will come off any expenses we put together to get there.

Pass the word on for women to sign up with us if they are interested.

Women entrepreneurs everywhere can agree a website is an essential aspect in promoting their businesses on the World Wide Web. Websites are also pieces of a business where owners lose control as new technology advances, webmasters disappear after creating a site, or it is held hostage by another web company. Losing the ability to maintain their own sites and financial losses due to lack of control of their website can make a female entrepreneur frustrated.

At the Women TIES Zoom Seminar "Getting Control of Your Website" sponsored by the New York Women's Business Center and presented by Rochester female entrepreneur Susan Jefferson of TechCreative, LLC, understand why being in control of your website is vital while learning how to gain critical information if you have lost control of it, tips and resources to help you stay in control, and steps to keep your website healthy.

Bring along your questions which Susan can answer since she has been designing, building, and helping her clients stay in control of their websites for over ten years.

Attendees get to give a one minute pitch, receive a sales contact list of attendees, and network with women across New York State to help form new economic "ties."

The event is sponsored by the New York Women's Business Center based in Utica, but serving free services to women entrepreneurs over 25 countries across the state. Find out more about them at www.nywbc.org
