Women TIES Media Sponsored Event: The Women's Capital Summit
Women TIES is proud to media sponsor events we feel are essential for women entrepreneurs to know about. EVENT: May 21st and May 22nd The Women's Capital Summit is the must-attend conference for women entrepreneurs seeking essential funding and for investors looking to discover high-potential, women-owned businesses. This opportunity brings together top innovators, investors, and thought leaders to drive economic growth and close the gender funding gap. Women-owned businesses represent 39.1% of all U.S. firms, employ 12.2 million people, and generate $2.7 trillion in revenue (Wells Fargo, 2024). Yet, women founders receive only 2% of venture capital funding—a gap that must be closed. The Women's Capital Summit is designed to change this narrative by fostering strategic partnerships and unlocking new pathways for growth. The Summit will include: *Investor Matchmaking: Sessions to connect women entrepreneurs with investors. *Keynote Addresses: Hear from influential leaders and women entrepreneurs who have navigated the challenges of securing investment. *Expert Panels: Discussions on current trends in entrepreneurship and investment, the future of women-led businesses, and strategies for overcoming funding obstacles. *Networking Sessions: These are opportunities for informal networking, enabling attendees to forge valuable connections with peers, mentors, and industry leaders. Find out more details on the program and how to register at https://wbcollaborative.org/ About the Presenter Women Business Collaborative (WBC) is an unprecedented alliance of 85+ women's business organizations and hundreds of business leaders building a movement to achieve equal positions, pay, and power for all women in business. Women TIES Invites You to Our "Gillie Girls Sprint Triathlon Team"
What happens when you are gathered around a table with women you are just getting to know and all of a sudden you leave the meeting having all committed to doing a triathlon together and the ages of the women in the room are 40-70? If you want to be part of our gang of women trying their first sprint triathlon to raise money for breast cancer research, join me (and us) at the 14th Annual Gillie Girl Sprint Triathlon on July 27th in Camillus, New York at and around Gillie Lake. You can do it by yourself or split up the triathlon legs with other women. It is made for everyone to enjoy. Tracy Chamberlain Higginbotham is dedicating the race to her friend Teresa Dowe Huggins, who had breast cancer and shines on from above the rainbow. Teresa did her first triathlon after a special friend of hers passed away. The truth is also that many women in her organization are breast cancer survivors or living with the disease now. We would love to have you join us so we can rock the athletic world with our power, and raise money for such a meaningful cause. Here is my referral link if you want to use it. https://runsignup.com/Race/NY/Camillus/GillieGirlSprintTriathlon?raceRefCode=qid045lY&utm_source=RunSignUp&utm_medium=Referral&utm_campaign=qid045lY Pay and register on your own, and then fill out our Women TIES registration page so we know you are coming and to look for you.
